My thoughts: Susan May Warren has done it again. A heart-stopping novel that wraps the characters around your heartstrings and doesn’t let go. IT HAD TO BE YOU is the second book in the A Christiansen Family series, but it easily stands alone. Fans will want to read Take a Chance on Me the first book in the series, and the novella (included free in IT HAD TO BE YOU), I Really Do Miss Your Smile.

I’ve said this before and I’ll say this again. I want to write like Susan May Warren. She is absolutely the best, and I love her books. I’m her number one fan. IT HAD TO BE YOU ripped my heart out and I cried at the end. Now I can’t wait for the next book in the series to come out (this summer.) Awesome book, awesome author.
