My thoughts: ANOTHER WAY HOME is the third book in the ongoing Chicory Inn family saga. Readers will want to read this book in order as the series really doesn't stand alone. I am looking forward to the fourth book in this series coming in 2016.   I didn't think at first I cared for Danae. She is whiny, crying all the time, and her husband is almost ready to flee for the hills.  I understand why she is that way, I'm sure any woman who doesn't have a family and so desperately wants one would be the same. (I was blessed with children)  But then she listened to Dallas, found a job to take her mind off it (even if the job wasn't one he exactly approved of, but God was in it.)  A beautiful, heartwarming tale of family, of sisters, of husband and wife relationship, and of God's hand working quietly behind the scenes to answer prayers in a way no one imagined.  The first two books are Home to Chicory Inn and Two Roads Home Note: Another Way Home is the third book in Deborah Raney's Chicory Inn series. You can purchase book one and two at your favorite book retailer or request at your local library. Meet the Author

Deborah Raney's books have won numerous awards, including the RITA, National Readers Choice Award, HOLT Medallion, and the Carol Award, and have twice been Christy Award finalists. She and her husband, Ken, recently traded small-town life in Kansas---the setting of many of Deborah's novels---for life in the (relatively) big city of Wichita, where they enjoy gardening, antiquing, movies, and traveling to visit four children and a growing brood of grandchildren who all live much too far away.
