Marilyn's Thoughts:  This book is a story that is captivating and heartfelt penned by well known author, Ruth Logan Herne. Jazz Monroe is longing for peace after years of being a supermodel and almost destroying her body. The attack on her life brought her dear friends in Wishing Bridge closer as they sought the assailant and keeping Jazz safe. Garrett Jackson and his partners met to develop a safety plan even when Jazz moved to an elite gated community. His attraction for Jazz was there but he thought he didn’t stand a chance when she met her neighbor Gus and five year old Emerson. Jazz’s compassion for Emerson with his declining disorder brought tears and laughter with her interaction with him.

The unexpected scenes gave way to a broad range of emotions but many cheers with the kindness, dedication, givers, faith and God loving individuals in the story. The primary and secondary characters are ones you want for lifetime friends. There are many gems in this story that made me smile and wish all small towns were like Wishing Bridge. I highly recommend this book, so purchase your copy and the entire series today. I was glad to see Herne has another book coming in 2021 with a least known character that is part of the fictional town Wishing Bridge.
