My pitbull lab mix, Skye, and pretty much every dog on the planet loves you more than they love themselves. All you gotta do is look up dogs online and you see countless videos of dogs protecting their owners, playing with kids, just making everyone’s day better by simply existing.
Dogs are my favorite part of God’s creation. My Skye is my favorite dog in God’s creation! Skye is such a sweet girl, cuddly and cute. But as a pitbull, her and her breed are often misjudged. They look tough, but they have a heart of gold and are completely loyal.
Not to equate God with an animal, but God can be misjudged too. People think he’s cold and uncaring, just a figure in white up there somewhere. But in reality, God loves us so much that he gave his only son to die for us, to save us from Hell. God is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
This Valentine’s Day, tell people about Someone who loves you more than anyone on earth ever could.
Dear Heavenly Father, thank you so much for loving us so much that you gave the ultimate sacrifice, so we can be with you in Heaven some day. In Jesus Name, Amen.
