My thoughts: HEARTS OF STEEL is the most recent book by my favorite historical author, Elizabeth Camden. She writes stories based on real events, and my heart broke for all these poor characters had to endure. I wanted justice for them! I had fallen in love with the characters in previous books and couldn't wait to read this story. If you or a friend like historical romance, you will want to read HEARTS OF STEEL as well as the other two books in the series. This will make a great last minute gift with this book arriving in time to battle the winter blahs. Recommended. I was given a copy free and all opinions are my own.
