Cassie Constantine didn’t expect to find herself a widow at fifty-five. But she is, and in the midst of her holiday plans, her grown daughter calls and informs Cassie that she won’t be coming home for Christmas. So, Cassie decides to take advantage of the lull and go down to Holiday, Florida, and get the vacation house that her deceased husband loved ready to put on the market, and then head back home to her Boston brownstone.

Cassie no sooner arrives in Holiday than a neighbor’s pontoon runs into the end of her dock, forcing Cassie to make even more repair work necessary on the house. But a member of the demolition boating crew happens to be Richard Dillon who makes Cassie’s heart beat faster.

As Cassie gets involved with the neighbors, she starts taking dance lessons and letting loose from her formerly predictable ways. But can she give up her established life in Boston to take a risk on Holiday love?

LOVE FINDS YOU IN HOLIDAY, FLORIDA is the second book I’ve read by Ms. Bricker and one of my top five favorite books so far in the Love Finds You series. I thoroughly loved Cassie, Richard, and the host of other quirky characters introduced in this story. I could see the Florida landscape, I could hear the dance music, and I loved all the renovations Cassie made on her vacation house getting it ready to sell. Add a touch of mystery to this romance and we have a recipe for enjoyment.

LOVE FINDS YOU IN HOLIDAY, FLORIDA is a fun Christmas themed book that is sure to be a favorite for holiday seasons to come. So grab your dancing shoes, and get ready to do the hustle at a neighborhood Christmas party you won’t soon forget. $12.99. 328 pages.
