Color with Friends. Be Drawn In to Scripture.

An unlikely queen. A murderous enemy. A miraculous turnaround. The story of Esther is breathtaking. Through study, coloring, and conversation, discover how to find your voice and grow your faith during times of trouble.

Deepen your friendships as you gather around Scripture for coloring and conversation. Drawn In offers simple four-week Bible studies―perfect for groups or personal devotions. Coloring quiets your heart and mind so you can enter fully into Scripture’s stories. The Bible’s passion and personality come through in The Message, surprising new and old Bible readers alike. Discover the delight of being Drawn In.

My thoughts: Drawn In Bible Study: Esther is a Bible study of Esther, (also available for Mary and Ruth) that is for beginners. Dr. Peterson used to teach at theological seminaries, then suddenly found himself a pastor at a church where most people knew next to nothing about the Bible. Going from a group who was deeply interested to beginners was a shock but it helped him to develop this Bible study series for people.

Filled with pictures to color and questions that require some thought as you read the retelling of Esther (in simplistic form) on the pages of the book. There are plenty of spaces to write answers to the questions.

The verses are not printed out in this study guide so those who do it will need a Bible, a pen, coloring pencils or markers and maybe a notebook for additional notes if you tend to be wordy.  A great book for a new Christian, for seekers, and for those who are interested in beginning to deepen their time in the word.

This is not a Bible study for advanced Bible students, but it is a great beginner's guide. Recommended for those mentioned above in addition to women's groups, tweens, teens, small group studies, and Bible study groups.

I was provided a free copy of this book. All  opinions are my own.

Discovering Bible Studies geared to new Christians is always nice. I'm thankful I grew up attending church and hearing the amazing Old and New Testament stories in SS, VBS, youth club, etc. God bless.
