Free-spirited Elizabeth Foster turned her back on her father's photography business to pursue musical theater, but a career on the stage remains second to a career behind the camera. The possibility of a one-show contract means she's a few weeks from unemployment forcing her home, and her dreams of pursuing professional photography reemerge. With photography and theater opportunities unfolding before her, Elizabeth faces her biggest challenge yet—listening to her heart.

Meanwhile, sought-after photographer Ryan Callahan has put his career on hold to help his sister's family, but the promise of a bigger assignment could lure him away so he can begin building a family of his own. With professional opportunities and personal obligations pulling at him, Ryan faces his toughest challenge—balancing family, relationships, and work.

If given the choice, what dreams would develop for Elizabeth and Ryan? And will they learn to trust each other enough to focus on love?

My thoughts:  I couldn't put FOCUS ON LOVE down! I had to keep reading. I fell in love with Ryan and Liz and I wanted them to achieve their goals.

The story is written from Liz's point of view only, so we know all her hurts, thoughts, wishes and desires. Ryan comes across as a super sweet guy who is willing to give it all up for his sister and her family--even his dreams, if need be. His faith is strong and he was a huge testimony to  Liz who's struggle with faith was based on her family and church history.

A picture-perfect romance that is completely in focus. This will be a book for romance lovers to devour as they flip through the pages.

I was given a copy free. All opinions are my own.

Laura, thanks for making me smile today with your lovely review. I fell in love with Liz and Ryan too. :-) And I'm loving the early response from readers as we all learn to focus on love in our lives.

I really enjoyed reading about Liz's story. If you haven't you should read Dance Over me and catch Dani's story. I look forward to Gloria's story next. So far, I'm not caring much for Gloria, but I'll bet she has a good story to tell. Candee, you'll just have to make Gloria more likable, LOL. Happy Reading!

Ha! Yes, Gloria needs some work to knock her off her high horse. But once she's hit rock bottom, it's been a delight to build her up again on the right foundation.
