uRelease date: October 2020

Written in rhyme, If I Could Ask Jesus invites children to imagine the lives of angels in heaven. How do they grow wings on their backs? Do they have scooters and skateboards and snacks? At the end, children will be delighted to discover that God’s angels are really mighty warriors who watch over them and protect them each day.

 Marilyn's thoughts

This beautiful illustrated book is written in an easy rhyme for young children who are wondering about things in heaven. If I Could Ask Jesus will delight children as they see the colorful illustrations related to questions children have about heaven. Children will gain understanding about heaven and angels as they listen or read through the questions they would ask. This book is perfect to gift to children who has experienced loss, asking untold questions about heaven and angels. The story include God’s protection and how to be thankful for it at bedtime. This would be a useful resource for parents, grandparents, Sunday school teachers, and Christian school workers to use to help children see answers to their questions.

I received a complimentary copy of this book from Celebrate Lit and the publisher without any obligation to write a positive review. I have expressed my own thoughts.

More from Donna

Having experienced much loss early in life, God gave me a heart and a longing to know all I can about living forever with Him in heaven. I did not set out to write If I Could Ask Jesus, but God through the Holy Spirit chose to create it through me. Whether writing for children or adults, I feel that my purpose is to bring the hope of heaven and the joy of the Lord to people wherever they are.
