My thoughts: Guarding Truth kind of threw me at first because I thought it was written by Lynette Eason and the story wasn't in her voice. So I went back and looked at the cover and found out it was written by another very talented author with Ms Eason's input. The hero and heroine had prior interaction with each other and had considered each other close friends at one time but years and distance tore them apart. Now she is a bodyguard and he is a hacker but not the bad kind. The story was kind of shocking at times with all the stuff that hackers are able to do on computers to control things we don't even think about in the real world. It was kind of scary at times and I had to keep reading to find out what would happen next. It was definitely a shock when the who dun it was for revealed. Fans will want to read the previous books in this series. I was given a copy free and all opinions are my own.
