OUT OF HER HANDS is a charming story about a middle aged woman, struggling to make sense of life, her demanding job, and two teens that are leaving the nest. I enjoyed reconnecting with Linda from the first book, Searching for Spice, and seeing how her life has changed since that first book ended.

I felt for Linda as her son insisted on flaunting his girlfriend in front of the family, especially when his girlfriend was less than friendly to his mother. I applauded Linda’s efforts to try to get to know the girl and to accept her, even though it was clear that the girl didn’t hold any of the family’s values. I hope there will be a third book in this series, as I would like to see what happens later with Josh, the father-in-law, and Linda’s daughter. Don’t miss OUT OF HER HANDS.
