Yet, amid the cheer of snowshoe outings, church potlucks, and holiday
festivities, Grace is given a bittersweet reminder of the Christmas story.
Grief is present with celebration, and though the future is rarely certain, she
is given a heartwarming glimpse that God knows our needs before we do and will
provide.
CHRISTMAS AT PEBBLE CREEK is a quick read that is read in minutes. It is a brief revisit of the community of Pebble Creek and the daughter written about in A Promise for Miriam. The story is told more than shown, but it was sweet reading about one of the dates Grace went on with Adam and the unique way he proposed. I also liked the way God provided a creative outlet for Grace once she leaves the schoolhouse as an assistant teacher.
For those who can't get enough of Ms. Chapman's Pebble Creek series, this is a nice wrap-up. $0.00. 24 pages.
