My thoughts: THE SKY ABOVE US is the second book in Ms. Sundin's Sunrise at Normandy series, but it stands alone. Fans will want to read the first book though (The Sea Below Us) to get Wyatt and Dorothy's story. And I am so looking forward to Clay's story coming later this year.
This was almost like watching Top Gun with the cocky pilots and the flight talk. And, oh the romance (swoon). Plus there was a mini-mystery with someone stealing from the Red Cross. Who was doing it and why??
I absolutely fell in love with both Atlee and Violet and while it did take me a few days to get started (life stuff) once I had a free day I couldn't put it down. Ms. Sundin is hands down my favorite #WWII #HistoricalRomance writer. Grab your copy of THE SKY ABOVE US now.
