TWICE PROMISED is the latest historical romance by talented author Maggie Brendan. It has an exciting premise, one I don’t think I’ve seen done before (and with as much as I read, this is unusual!).
Readers who love historical romances and especially mail order bride romances will inhale this well-written story. The reader will be cheering for both women and poor unsuspecting Jess. Good book, but a little slow. $14.99. 330 pages.
