BURIED SECRETS is the first book in Ms. Hannon’s new series, Men of Valor. I have to admit, this book is scarier than some of Ms. Hannon’s romantic suspense... the villain/murderer absolutely terrified me. I finished the book thankful I don’t have any “friends” like that in my life. So very cold. Calculated. (shudder.)  

I enjoyed getting to know Mac and Lisa. I had to applaud Lisa for taking on a male dominated career and succeeding. I also fell in love with Mac. He is a total sweetheart.

Even though the identity of the killer is revealed early on, fans will keep reading as the body count keeps rising, the stakes keep going up, and the (suspected) attempted on one of the officer’s life is executed…
