Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

My pit bull lab mix, Skye, lives in an all girl household except for my dad. Which means that she gets chased and teased and dressed up and cuddled A LOT. When Dad comes home, Skye runs to him, curls up on the couch beside him, and all is right in her world. Nothing fazes her when she’s next to Dad.

Wouldn’t it be cool to have a relationship like that with God? Whenever you’re tired or stressed or just mad, you can go to God and just be. And calm down.

God wants us to come to Him with everything. The good, the bad, and the ugly. Let’s try and take Him up on that offer.

Dear Heavenly Father, thank you so much for giving us the chance to know you personally. Help us as we go about our day, and help us to remember that you are only a prayer away at all times. In Jesus Name, Amen.
