A Single Christian Mother Romance
With a life marred by painful experiences, Abigail Walsh is just a good single mom trying her best. Though she has made her share of mistakes along the way, she trusts that God has a plan for her life and with the broken pieces of her heart. When she meets a man who stirs the depths of her soul, Abby hopes that he’s a gift from God, and not just another heartbreak waiting to happen.
For Wyatt Fuller, the last five years in Lincoln City has been a game of hiding from the heartache endured by losing the only woman he had ever loved. When he is not hiding, he longs to understand the real meaning of life. He longs to discover lasting beauty in a world that is passing away. A chance encounter with a man on a beach leads to meeting a woman who would challenge him to the core of who he is and what he knows to be true.
One Chance At Forever is a realistic Christian story filled with romance and deals with difficult subjects such as: grief over losing a spouse, unbelief, and a Christian learning to trust in God’s timing. Inspired by the Word of God and real-to-life people, this story shines a light into the darkness.
Marilyn's thoughts: One Chance at Forever is a story that is immersed in action and strong characters. T. K. Chapin is not afraid to share the gospel message through his stories and this book was penned with God’s love for all no matter their past or present situation. .
Wyatt struggled with why God had caused his wife to die a
tragic death while serving Him on the mission field. He had an atheist father
but had seeds planted of God’s goodness and love from his grandfather and
mother. Abigail had strayed from her faith after loss and feeling rejected by
her aunt but had turned her life back to God. When Wyatt meets Mac, a homeless
man, and Abigail his intellectual seeks more answer about God. Chapin’s
characters had flaws but he interwove a lovely gentle message of God’s love,
mercy, redemption, hope and peace that brought their ashes to beauty.
This book might not be for all readers if they do not like a
strong faith message in a book, but it’s a worthwhile read showing that no
matter life’s situations or traumas experienced an inner peace from God will
sustain them through life.
I received a complimentary e-copy of this book from the
author and was under no obligation to write a positive review. I have expressed
my own sincere thoughts.
