Time is running out for apprentice PI Elliot Ransom. She must find the information her father hid before he died or face devastating consequences. She’ll do anything to protect the ones she loves—even if it means sacrificing herself.
As a masked man taunts her, Elliot plunges herself into her father’s cloak-and-dagger world. Mastering the craft of being clandestine is a challenge. In order to survive, she must examine everything she thought to be true.
Will confronting her troubles ruin everything? Or will it provide Elliot’s family a new start? Either way, who would have ever thought being covert could cause such chaos?
My thoughts (lvh): THE CRAFT OF BEING COVERT is the 6th book in this series and fans will want to read them in order.
Elliot has a lot of family drama in this story, and it all starts when a man wearing a chicken mask shows up in Elliot's office demanding Elliot turn over information her father left her. Trouble is: What? Elliot doesn't have a clue.
Will she find it in time to save lives?
I was given a copy free. All opinions are my own.
