THE GINGERBREAD BRIDE is such an adorable story! I have never read any of Ms. Lillard’s books – not even her Amish which is what she’s most known for – so when I was offered a chance to review her Christmas novella I jumped at it—for several reasons.
I absolutely love Christmas stories and if they are laced with fun, snow, cookies, and mistletoe all the better. Ms. Lillard includes all of the above in this fast paced novella.
If you are looking for a good Christmas story to read, you’ll want to read Ms. Lillard’s THE GINGERBREAD BRIDE. Highly recommended. I’m going to go look at a few written by some of my favorite historical authors. Ebook only.

Love your cover, Amy. There's something special about gingerbread at Christmas. Our daughter made fifteen little houses for our youngest grand and her Girl Scouts to decorate this week. I think the houses were primarily graham crackers, but they sure had fun frosting and adding the gum drops, etc. Merry Christmas!
I wasn't offered a review copy. I'd love to read all of them too. I did get The Christmas Star Bride and The Nutcracker Bride to review -- but other than that - none.
I don't even know if it's coming out in print. But 99 cents isn't too bad.
