COVERT JUSTICE is Ms. Blackburn’s debut Love Inspired Suspense. I enjoyed reading COVERT JUSTICE and it held  my interest all the way through. There aren’t many LIS books where the heroine is an FBI agent and the hero is the one trying to survive. I also liked how the attack was more subtle…using chemicals to wreck havoc.

The apparent villain is known, but not everything is as it seems. It did keep me guessing how things would end. I was a bit confused how Blake did know the villain though—I missed that connection somewhere. Heidi was definitely brave, but she struggled with real issues most of us would struggle with in her situation.

If you like romantic suspense, give COVERT JUSTICE a try. It is one of the better ones I’ve read.
