First of all, a big thank you to so many of you who helped get the word out about the Kickstarter campaign for the Africa Study Bible! We know you understand the need for and the mission of the ASB, and we so appreciate the support you gave to help us be able to share this incredible resource with the African continent.
I thought you might be interested in knowing the results of our efforts. While we raised nearly $40,000, we unfortunately did not meet our $100,000 goal. Because with Kickstarter it’s “all or nothing,” Oasis isn’t able to collect those gifts. However, some good news!
Due to gifts previously received outside of the Kickstarter platform, we will be able to move forward with the printing of the ASB, though on a slightly delayed timeline and potentially fewer copies. We know God still has a plan for the ASB!
Here are a couple final steps for you:
1. Oasis will still accept donations through its Web site and you can direct your readers to learn more about the project here:http://oasisint.net/#asb. There is a “give” button at the bottom of that page if anyone is interested.
