For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
We adopted my pit bull lab mix, Skye, when she was six
month old. We’ll have had her for four years this August. For awhile after we
first got her, we seriously considered sending her back. She was just too
crazy! But, after time, training, and love Skye mellowed out. Now her favorite
pastime is snuggling on the couch. She’s still a crazy animal sometimes, but
she’s loved and she knows it. Aren’t you glad God doesn’t even think about
throwing us back? We’re His kids and we’ll always be. But did we thank Him? Did
we truly think about what he did for us? He gave his only son to DIE to save a
world that didn’t want him! That’s unconditional love!
Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for making the
ultimate sacrifice for us and sending your son to die for a stiff necked
people. Help us not to take it for granted. In Jesus Name, Amen.
