Take an in-depth look at:
  • The lives of Peter and John, and other first-century believers who answered their culture while standing firm for Christ in spite of persecution
  • Little-known facets of the stories of pilgrim, William Bradford, Martin Luther and martyr, William Tyndale.
  • The faith of heroes of the U. S. Revolution and our nation’s early leaders that shaped our great nation.
Strategies for overcoming, and powerful biblical principles, are intertwined with lessons from the believers of history in this eight-week, interactive Bible study. Five strategic lessons each week will encourage you in your faith, and equip you to face difficult days. Interactive questions will help you examine your own life and leave a deposit of faith.
“For we cannot stop about speaking what we have seen and heard.” (Acts 4:20 NAS)
My thoughts (Reviewed by Marilyn): This well designed Bible study written with research of history is perfect for an individual, family, Christian schools or small group study. The author brought insightful study tips and needed sources at the beginning so users are prepared. There are eight wonderful weeks of study in regards to specific verses for the student to focus upon to enhance there spiritual life to be more bold in letting their light shine brighter for God. The study begins in Acts with the Apostles after Pentecost and carries through to other prominent verses that have been quoted throughout American history. The interweaving of American history and Biblical characters brought life to the study with various quotes, diagrams, charts, question to ponder and complete during the five sessions for the week. I highly recommend this Biblical study to others who want to grow deeper in their spiritual life.

I received a complimentary copy of this book from Celebrate Lit and the author for the book tour. I was under no obligation to post a positive review.
