Interview with Tanya Eavenson and GIVEAWAY

Please leave a comment to win a copy of Happy Sis Magazine for you and two of your friends.  Leave contact information

What are you reading right now?

I’m currently reading The Legacy of the King’s Pirates book series by MaryLu Tyndall. I’ve read book one and can’t wait to finish the rest of the series after my edits!

What is your current work in progress?

I’m working on the second book in the Unconditional series called Restored. When I wrote Unconditional, I made a secondary character so strong that readers began asking for his story. What did I do? I listened. I’m about 30,000 words in and I’m already looking forward to its release.

What is your most difficult writing obstacle, and how do you overcome it?

My most difficult writing obstacle has been my health. Two years ago I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer. Two surgeries later, I’m still dealing with health issues. I’ll be honest and tell you I haven’t quiet overcome the toil it’s taken on me emotionally or physically, but I’ve learned something in the process. God doesn’t want me to fear the future or the things I can’t control, but live a life He has called me to. And writing is at the top of that list.

What advice would you give to a beginning author?

The best advice I could give to any writer is to NEVER give up. The road to publication is hard, it takes determination and faith. You have to walk in it, breath it, and live it. It’s the only way.

Tell us about Unconditional.

Here’s a brief blurb:

He will fight for her at any cost…

Elizabeth Roberts can't remember her past, and the present is too painful. She turns to nightclubs and drinking to forget her infant daughter's death, her husband's affair.

When his wife's coma wiped out the memory of their marriage, Chris Roberts found comfort elsewhere. He can't erase his betrayal, but with God's help he’s determined to fight for Elizabeth at any cost.

She wants to forget. He wants to save his marriage. Can they trust God with their future and find a love that’s unconditional?

Is there one particular message or “moral of the story” you hope readers walk away with?

I hope readers will walk away knowing that when we have Christ in our lives, all things are possible through Him.

Tell us about the giveaway you’re offering.

Today I’m here to give away one copy of Happy Sis Magazine for you AND two of your friends. The magazine edition you’ll receive is called Unconditional Love and I’m excited to have been one of the contributors for this issue. All you have to do is answer a question to be entered to win and Laura will draw the winner next week.

What one question would you like us to ask for the giveaway?

When was the last time you read a magazine, online or in print?

What’s on the horizon for you?

After I finish writing Restored, I plan to publish a three books Historical Romance series called All Roads Lead to Texas.

Where can readers find you online?

Readers can connect with me at my website, on Facebook, or Twitter.
