Isaac Walker is back with a vengeance. As old enemies from his past resurface Isaac desperately tries to hold onto his faith in God’s ability to fight his battles.

Nina and Isaac raised their youngest son, Isaac Walker Junior (Ikee) as far away from the hood and drug life as they could get him. But the sins of the father were too strong and too deadly for the son to avoid. Once Ikee leaves the church to become a gang banger Isaac is pulled back into a life he left behind so long ago… and only God knows how this nightmare will end.

Why do you write the kind of books you do?

I write Christian fiction, and I can’t imagine myself writing anything else. I love the stories that I create with God right in the midst of the conflict, helping my characters to see the truth based on the Word of God. What could be better than that?

Besides when you came to know the Lord, what is the happiest day in your life?

That would be the day my daughter was born, and then I was overjoyed to watch both my grandchildren come into the world.

How has being published changed your life?

It’s changed my life in a lot of ways. First of all, I was able to witness a dream fulfilled when I saw my first book in print. After that I realized that anything I set my mind to do would be possible. It’s been a wonderful ride for me. I have met so many people who have been blessed by my writing, and that makes it all worth it.

What is your current work in progress?

Right now I am working on RAIN in the Promise Land, the 8th and I think, final book in the Rain Series.

What would be your dream vacation?

My dream vacation is a Paris, London, Italy two week trip which I plan to take for my 50th.

What are your hobbies, besides writing and reading?

I am a basketball fan. I often attend the Hornets games and watch the games on TV. I also love to travel, hanging out on a beach is very peaceful to me.

What is your most difficult writing obstacle, and how do you overcome it?
Procrastination. I simply make myself get to work.
Is there one particular message or moral of the story you hope readers walk away with?

I would love for readers to understand that God has a purpose and a plan for us all. It is our job to keep that plan foremost in our lives.

After the Rain is set in Dayton, OH. Whats so special about Dayton?

I was born in Dayton, OH. Since The Rain Series was the first series I ever wrote, I naturally began the series in Ohio. Out of sentiment, whenever I write the Rain Series, I set it in Ohio.

Whats on the horizon for you?  What will you be writing next?

I am currently working on the sequel to After the Rain. The title is: RAIN in the Promise Land. It will release in May 2015.
