My thoughts: GLIMMER AND SHINE is a unique devotional for girls. It not only a devotional, but it includes fun activies for some of the 'devotions' such as word searches, crossword puzzles, codes, answering questions, pictures to color and more.

The actual devotions are well-thought out and quite good including a verse, the devotion with a story related to it, and concludes with an application and a prayer.

I would recommend this book for tween girls. It'd make an excellent gift for your favorite 8 - 12 year old girl to find in her stocking. The cover is glittery enough to appeal to the sparkle in your princess.
