The Beginner's Bible Daniel and the Lions Den / My Bible Story Coloring Book: The Books of the Bible

The Beginner's Bible Daniel and the Lions Den

Product Description

Daniel is thrown into a lions' den--just for praying to God! Will he survive the night with all the lions? Daniel and the Lions helps emergent readers learn about Daniel's faith in God, and God's love for Daniel. The story's simple text and fun illustrations will keep children engaged from start to finish.
Part of the I Can Read! series, this book is a great tool for beginning and developing readers. My First I Can Read! books have basic language, word repetition, and whimsical illustrations that are idea for sharing with an emergent reader. Recommended for ages 4 to 7.
My thoughts: THE BEGINNER'S BIBLE: DANIEL AND THE LIONS DEN is a cute read for beginning readers. It tells the true biblical story of Daniel and the Lions Den in fiction form, so beginning readers can feel good about reading a story by themselves, and encourage them in their reading ability.
Not only will it help beginning readers, but it is also simplistic enough to read to preschoolers and babies not yet reading. The story is exciting and the pictures are engaging and colorful.
Recommended for Christian schools,  church and public libraries, day cares, and private libraries.
I was given a copy free. All opinions are my own.

Children can now color their way through 32 beloved stories from the Bible, featuring text from the New International Reader’s Version (NIrV). Favorite characters such as Noah, Daniel, Mary, and Jesus are brought to life in this 144-page coloring book. After coloring, the pages can be displayed to encourage creativity and memory of the classic Bible stories.
This book is perfect for young children just beginning their journey through the Bible.

My thoughts: MY BIBLE  STORY COLORING BOOK: THE BOOKS OF THE BIBLE is  what it says. A Bible story book and a coloring book so children can read the story and color the picture corresponding to it. This would be a great gift for children under the tree, or to use on the long car trip to Grandma's house for the holidays.

Also good for churches, Christian schools and day cares.

The stories are true, but fictionalized, making it easy reading and the artwork is well done, encouraging a child to reach for a marker, crayon, or coloring pencil to start filling it in with color.
