My thoughts: A ROYAL CHRISTMAS is Ms. Carlson's newest novel for the Christmas season. I've become a fan of these unique Chistmas stories over the years and look for them every season. This was a classic retelling of the Cinderella story set in modern times and some changes to make it not so obvious. I enjoyed the faith message that was in the story and had to keep reading. There is a slight mystery, a light romance, a evil queen and plenty of pleasant surprises. If you like Christmas stories you will absolutely love A ROYAL CHRISTMAS. Recommended.
