Brings her more than she ever imagined
As the last unmarried girl in her family, Eunice Yoder is given an ultimatum—find a husband or full-time job, or move out. Too independent for a suitor and with no one willing to hire such an unconventional Amish woman, Eunice’s future seems set. Until widower and best friend Zeb Mast offers her a deal. He’ll pretend to court her if she will help care for his young son. Both believe they are done with romance, but as they begin their arrangement, their pretend courtship starts to feel a little too real…

Book 1: An Amish Proposal for Christmas
Book 2: Her Amish Adversary
Book 3: An Unusual Amish Winter Match
Book 4: The Mysterious Amish Bachelor
Book 5: A Courtship for the Amish Spinster
This is a quote Amos Yoder gave to Zeb Mast
and his young son after Josh said they had a bad day. A Courtship for the Amish
Spinster is a touching read with the uniqueness of Eunice Yoder. Eunice enjoyed
working on small engines instead of what most Amish women desired to do. Zeb
and Eunice long time friendship brought challenges when they agreed to a pack.
Zeb need the job at the Amish Market and Eunice had to find a way to stay in
Shipshewana. The multiple ups and downs of their pack brought moments of
chuckles, tears and applause. Add in young Josh and Eunice’s sisters who
desired their happiness made this one amazing read.
Chapman has a way of always creating a
story with difficult subjects that she gently weaves into the tale that brings
answers, increased faith, hope and peace to her characters.
I received an early copy of this book and
was not required to write a positive review. I have expressed my own thoughts.
