Pocket Prayers for Teachers
What a cute idea! I gave my teacher copy on to a friend who sends her daughters to public school -- a great gift for teachers. I am only a homeschool teacher so it really isn't geared for me or those like me, but for public school teachers or Christian school teachers who need a moment of quiet time and a prayer to suit their needs. Brilliant!
I really wanted to review this collection for the military one as my son is going into the Coast Guard. I think this will be the perfect boost of encouragement for him in this new phase of his life. So my copy of the military one will be going to my son.
The Dad one and the Mom one will be given to random parents at our church for Father's Day and Mother's Day respectively. And the Graduation copy will be given to a random graduating friend of one of my children. The Friend one will also be given to a random friend. Not mentioning any names. :) Great collection, and gift for any of your favorite people -- on the dates below -- or other days as a pick me up.
Key dates to keep in mind (these little books would make great gifts):
Mother's Day---May 8
Memorial Day---May 30
Father's Day---June 19
Teachers---first week of May is National Teacher Appreciation Week, first Tuesday May 3 is NTA day
Graduation---month of May
Friends---June 8 is Best Friend Day - International Day of Friendship is July 30
More than 120 million readers have found comfort in the writings of Max Lucado. He ministers at the Oak Hills Church in San Antonio, Texas,
where he lives with his wife, Denalyn, and a sweet but misbehaving mutt, Andy.
