My thoughts: THE BERENSTAIN BEARS' CARING AND SHARING TREASURY is a collection of five of Stan and Jan and Mike's stories. Since I have not exactly been in the know about The Berenstain Bears books until recently, I wasn't familiar with any of these stories, nor was my Berentain Bears fan daughter. She enjoyed reading them and getting acquainted with some of the older books.
The books included in this collection are the titles listed above, and they talk about different jobs bears (or people) can grow up to have (Not all careers are represented), how you can get involved in your community and make a difference, how you should take the time to help your neighbors, how bragging and gossiping are wrong. Great moral lessons are included in four of these five books. Highly recommended for fans of The Berenstain Bears, church, school, and public libraries, homeschools, or as a gift for your favorite toddler or preschooler. Recommended. 5 stars.
