Young cooks and their adult assistants will find recipes for beverages, meals and sides, and sweets and treats.

My thoughts:  THE BERENSTAIN BEARS' HOLIDAY COOK is a fun book for beginning cooks. I'm using this in my home school for home ec.  My daughter made the fruit salad pictured above for a church potluck (and introduced church kids to kiwi, since they never had it or heard of it), the hot cocoa for a fun treat one day, and the pizza below for lunch yesterday. Both girls enjoyed using this, and would recommend it to homeschool moms and grandmas, Berenstain Bear fans and cookbook collectors. Makes a nice holiday gift for your favorite beginning cook!  Colorful and friendly. Highly recommended. 5 stars.
