Proverbs 3:5-6(KJV)
5 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
Sometimes, Skye doesn’t know where she wants to be. She’ll ask outside, and I’ll let her out, and five minutes later she asks back in, and the cycle continues. I usually get annoyed after like three times, and refuse to let her back out.
Skye is house trained, so I can ignore her. But when I do, Skye sits by the door with an ever deepening pout. So, I let her out AGAIN and Skye decides to stay out until bedtime. She usually starts this routine around seven-ish and only when she’s cranky.
We tend to get frustrated with God “ignoring” us too. We know what we want, but we tend to forget that God can see the big picture and what we want RIGHT NOW could majorly mess things up. We have to remember to trust Gods timing because he knows what He’s doing and we don’t.
Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for always doing what’s best for us, and help us to remember that You will give us the desires of our heart in your good time. In Jesus Name, Amen.
