Marilyn's thoughts:  This is a touching and delightful story that engaged me from the start. I knew I had to read this book just from the title, but then every book from Ruth Logan Herne is a must be read story. This lovely story is filled with challenges, faith, victories and disappointments, family and love. Carly’s life had been difficult growing up but she was persistence in giving her adopted and foster children the best life possible. Mike Morris arrival in Kendrick Creek to provide a respite from his past but new challenges and pain arrived. Ruth Logan Herne penned a superb story for these characters. This is a touching and delightful story that engaged me from the start. I knew I had to read this book just from the title, but then every book from Ruth Logan Herne is a must be read story.
