This is a humorous and fun cozy mystery from the opening page. Marigold’s passion for rescuing dogs along with being a vet tech gave her tense and enjoyable situations. The employees at the vet clinic had a good working relationship with one another that flowed into their lives outside of work. There were several shady characters that could have vandalized the vet clinic though. I enjoyed how Marigold enlisted others into her dream of having a dog rescue ranch. With this being the first book in the series, it’ll be great to see how the admirable characters lives change in upcoming releases.
