My thoughts: EXPIRED REFUGE is the first book in a ten book (and growing) series by Lisa Phillips. This is the second book of hers I've read. There is a lot of gritty writing in this series, the no-holds-barred type. The romance is weak, the faith message is weak, but there, but the non-stop action is very present. If you like police drama you will love this series and this book. You will also love the three new books coming out based on this series. I was given a copy free and all opinions are my own.
