My thoughts: Break of Day by Colleen Coble is a romantic suspense set up near Copper Harbor, Michigan. The Upper Peninsula of Michigan is one of my favorite places on Earth and I could see the sites that she described. The suspense is slow moving and every once in a while, the author added a bit to the suspense to let you know that yes this is so romantic suspense, but the focus was mainly on the romance at first. Toward the end it got really creepy scary, and I had to keep reading to find out what happened next. I had to admire Annie's courage and her quick-thinking ability. If you like romantic suspense Colleen Coble is a winner. You will want to read the other books in the series as it does not stand alone. I was given a copy for you and all opinions are my own.
