But as autumn leads into winter, she begins to see glimpses of the Jonah she’s forgotten. Will she be able to resist the steady love of this patient man? Or Is her heart destined for its own freefall?

My thoughts:  Before We Were Us is Ms. Hunter's latest release and as per usual, we have a winner.  Laurel has her plans for the future mapped out in advance and nothing is going to stop her.  Not even a handsome man in the middle of nowhere.  Jonah knows what he wants to, but he feels it all slipping away....   This is a great romance and would make a great Hallmark movie.   If you love romance grab your copy while its on preorder....
