Match Point

Title: MATCHPOINT
Author: Erynn Mangum
Publisher: NavPress
2008
ISBN: 978-1-60006-309-1
Genre: Inspirational/chick lit/teen

Lauren Holbrook has taken credit for four successful couples now. Now her dad is happily married and life settling into an even keel, Lauren is quite happy. She’s dating Ryan and enjoying her friendship with him, but she doesn’t think she’s in love with him.

When all Lauren’s friends start trying to play match-maker to get her and Ryan engaged, Lauren resists all their efforts. But she does start praying for wisdom to decide if she is in love with Ryan, and if he’s really the right one for her.

When the attempts to get Lauren and Ryan engaged get pushing, Lauren wonders if perhaps she’s gone too far in the matchmaking business. Especially when she and Ryan have to break-up to get people off their back about marriage.

MATCHPOINT is the third book in Ms. Mangum’s Lauren Holbrook series and personally, I hate to see it come to an end! I enjoyed getting to know Laurie and all her friends, and wish that she were real so I could be part of them.

Ms. Mangum is an expert at dialog, and creating humorous situations. The story and characters are unpredictable, and one can’t guess what will be happening next. I love this series, and am looking forward to more books from Erynn Mangum. If you like chick lit, don’t miss MATCHPOINT, or the previous books in this series, Miss Match and Rematch. 366 pages. Available from your favorite bookstore, www.amazon.com, or by calling NavPress at 1-800-366-7788.
