My thoughts: THE BEDTIME BOOK is an adorably cute bedtime story book illustrated by Mary Engelbreit. It includes well-known poems, such as Twinkle Twinkle and lesser known ones that I never read before. I absolutely loved the illustrations, they are so adorably cute with all the little touches that are classic Mary Englebreit. You can even see how soft and cushy the quilts in the book are, and the fluffiness of the pillows -- which makes me want to go take a nap now!  Even the scary animals in the book are not so scary, they are cuddly stuffed animals a child might sleep with.

If you are looking for a new bedtime book for your tot, preschooler, or pre-preteen, this is the perfect one. My copy is going on my shelf for my daughters and future grandchildren to enjoy (though it might make me sleepy to read it to them!
