An Antique Store Becomes a Place of Healing for Broken Hearts
Welcome to Walnut Creek, Ohio, where Orley and Lois Troyer own an antique store they call “Memory Keepers.” Though knowledgeable in antiques and their repair, their real talent is in mentoring folks who are hurting and don’t even know it. Enter Jeff, a restaurateur, and Rhonda, a hotel manager, who recently moved to Amish country for the slow pace, but the change of scenery puts even more stress on their already strained marriage. Will an antique sled be the last straw, or will it lead to unexpected revelations and the fulfillment of dreams?
The Walnut Creek Wish is the first book in Brunstetter’s new
series, Creektown Discoveries. Jeff and Rhonda are an English couple who
purchased a large home in Walnut Creek. Their jobs consumed their time with
martial issues and no time for God. The book moved slow at times as it was a
repeat of the negative thoughts of Jeff and Rhonda.
Jeff was into vintage collectibles and met Orley and Lois
Troyer at their Memory Keepers antique shop in Walnut Creek. This Amish couple
strong faith, love for God and wanting to be a blessing to others wanted to
reach Jeff and Rhonda after they shared more about their lives. Will the
Troyer’s prayers and others be able to reach Jeff and Rhonda when another
setback in their finances happened?
Brunstetter did bring a nice ending to the story with an underlying
theme that God is the answer to every problem.

This book sounds wonderful! I love the cover on it and that is one of my favorite verses in the Bible.
