Rachel J. Good always bring an extraordinary story to life with her characters past
and present situations. faith, God’s love and forgiveness and the sense of belonging
to a community despite the past.
Good created true to life characters even including a young rebellious Amish girl in
this wonderful story. Stephen and Nettie had challenges to face as well as their own
past. The circumstances of their past played a major role how they viewed life. I
appreciate how the story was developed with themes of forgiveness, letting go and
realizing past events develop characteristics to assist others as shown throughout this
tale.
Amish fans will appreciate this story and reconnecting with other characters from
the earlier books in this series.
