My thoughts: Jennifer Beckstrand writes Amish fiction like none other with unconventional characters and storylines. The book was well-written if somewhat unbelievable, but it was good. I enjoyed seeing how Mattie goes about her plans. If you like unique Amish fiction you will love this book. I was given a copy free and all opinions aare my own.
