My thoughts:   DEADLY INTENT may be the 4th book in this series, but as do the prior ones, it stands alone.  Ms. Barritt writes in a fast-paced style that keeps the pages turning and you have to find out who-dun-it and why.  Some of the story was somewhat contrived, but it was still a good read.  If you like romantic suspense you will love DEADLY INTENT.
