Teacups Full of Treasures

Title: TEACUPS FULL OF TREASURES
Author: Mary Grace Birkhead
Publisher: Integrity Publishers
2006
ISBN: 1-59145-495-6
Genre: Inspirational/nonfiction/gift book

This charming little book contains pictures of beautiful heirloom teacups and the names of God, going through the Old Testament and the New Testament.

On each page is a picture of an antique tea cup, then in larger print a name of God, such as “God is your Redeemer”. Under that is a thought containing to that name, such as: “You can’t mess up so badly that He can’t make it all work out. He can fix anything! He can take your past mistakes and make them treasures.”

I thoroughly enjoyed reading through this little book, and read it all through in a setting. I also enjoyed looking at the pictures of the teacups. Teacups are one of my little treasures and I was blessed enough to inherit an aunt’s collection. I also loved reading the little thoughts about God’s names in this book, and put it aside to read and reflect on in smaller pieces, maybe as part of a Bible study.

If you are looking for an unique gift book for a special lady in your life, then TEACUPS FULL OF TREASURES would be an excellent choice. Pair it with a selection of specialty teas, and a new teacup and you’ll have a winner. $9.99 hardcover.
