Title: PRINCESS STORIES: Real Bible Stories of God’s Princesses
Written by: Carolyn Larsen
Illustrated by: Sergey Eliseev
Publisher: Tyndale House Publishers
Genre: Nonfiction/Bible Stories
Girls love princesses. They dream about them, play dolls with them, and pretend they are one. And your little princess will love reading this book about the “Princesses” in the Bible.
In this cute, pink, hardcover book, your favorite little princess will learn about the loyalty of Ruth, the wisdom of Deborah, the courage of Esther, the honor of Elizabeth, the sharing of the Sunammite Woman, and so many more.
Each story starts with a scripture reference for your daughter to look up and read (or for you to read with her) in your preferred version of the Bible, then the story retold in first person, so it sounds more like the woman is telling the story. It ends with a Bible verse for your little girl to memorize, and then several questions for her to think about and answer.
My nine year old and six year old both loved listening to stories in this book and learning more about Bible Princesses. This is a great book that will help teach Bible stories to your daughter (niece, granddaughter, etc) and help to teach good values to them as well. Highly recommended. $14.99 hardcover. 120 pages.
I received this book in return for review from Tyndale House Publishers.
