Breath Of Spring

As a bright season brings a fresh start to Willow Ridge, Annie Mae Knepp feels she can never make peace with the past. Her disgraced ex-bishop father is furious she has taken her five siblings to live with her. She's never been truly at home in her faith. . .or believing in herself. And Annie Mae fears no man will want to take on the responsibilities she's gladly shouldered. True, her quiet neighbor Adam Wagler has been steadfast and unshakeable helping her through her trials, but he surely couldn't think of someone so lost as more than a friend. Believing she is unworthy because of her doubts, Annie Mae will find in a moment of surprising revelation that God can work impossible miracles--and that love makes all things new.

Praise for The Seasons of the Heart series

"Another great book centered around the Sweet Seasons Café." --RT Book Reviews, 4 Stars

"These very special books will sit proudly on my keeper shelf!" --Romance Reviews Today

My thoughts:  BREATH OF SPRING is part of the Seasons of the Heart series by Ms. Hubbard. Fans will enjoy getting to know this new set of characters and reconnecting with some old favorites in this close-knit Amish community.

Some wonderful sounding recipes and a sample chapter of Ms. Hubbard's next book, Harvest of Blessing coming later this year.

BREATH OF SPRING has a clear message of hope. The writing is well-done, but the characters were rather flat. Ms. Hubbard does do a stellar job describing the workings of a restaurant, describing the mouth watering food, the banter between characters, and the sense of community. Fans of Amish fiction will eat this up. $6.99. 362 pages.
