My thoughts: A SEASON OF CHANGE is a different sort of Amish story. Jacob is still in deep mourning over the death of his wife, even though his family and friends urge him to move on. He takes his two children and go to Florida on vacation where his daughter is hit by a car and hospitalized. Circus performer Natalie is playing a clown to encourage hospitalized children and that is where she meets Jacob. It was interesting watching Natalie's faith grow and change in this story and I had to keep reading to see how this would end. An innovative approach to an Amish story.
