My thoughts: THE LADYBUG BUDDIES is an incredibly interesting story. Two ladybugs, living in a Rootbeer establishment. One of them had big through the big doors to the back and read the Buddy Rules. He couldn't remember all of them, and didn't understand what they meant, but some he remembered. There is also the Great Bottle Capper who lives up above somewhere.  He never met him, but he heard his voice once.  But what happens when one of the ladybugs is happy where he's at, but his buddy develops a sudden sense of adventure? 

This is a great story for my beginning reader to read by herself. Full of adventure, words that beginning readers can easily handle, and a storyline that will hold their interest. I hope I can read the next book in this collection when it comes out.
