My thoughts: This is a great dual whether you buy them separately are as a pair. My ten year old daughter is doing the devotional every day as part of her Bible study and she really likes, it. Cool fonts and drawings, and cool drawings. The journal is especially fun. Scripture based it gives plenty of doodle space, lines to write about their big plans and thoughts about Bible characters and more. This set is definitely recommended.
